Some months ago, an idea evolved from a roundtable: why not develop journalistic content with a connected group of photo- graphers, scriptwriters, graphic designers, editors and salespeople, and then implement those ideas into a project? A look into the socio-political landscape of those months made it clear that a subject would continue to gain in importance. A working title was given: »The German Federal Armed Forces in International Missions - Intention? Consequences? Future?«
Today, this is justified. The foreign deployment, particularly in Afghanistan, came more and more into the focus of the public. By an attack on two road tankers, with injured and dying soldiers, by struggling with the subject policy, the question of meaning. The result: reports that deal with the issues that accompany the topic. They combine the curiosity toward relationships and have the motivation to clarify the effects.
